"Desire society"-Bangalore is the place where joy bank will carry out its next donation.

Desire society is an organization that takes care of hiv positive kids who inherited this disease from their parents.Its parent society was registered in hyderabad in 2005.The branch in J.P Nagar shelters 22 children who are hiv +ve. They are in need of donations either in cash or kind.One of the directors of desire society Mr Subhash said that it would be helpful if we could donate few ceiling fans to them as it is their necessity at this moment. They are in need of books too.

Members are requested to donate money(Min 150rs) to joy bank account from which we will be purchasing fans and books.If we join our hands together we can be of greater help than contributing individually.So lets work as a team. If the donor cannot join us on the event day we will be mailing you a letter from the desire society so that you know that your money is put in the right hands.This donation will be carried out on the last Sunday of July.Members are requested to join us on this day to make it a grand success.

Hello joy members,
As we are done with our first donation we now need to focus on our second. 50% of our members are from banglore hence it would be good if we schedule our next event in banglore itself. I need your suggestions ,views about our next event. Members can come up with names of orphanages,blind schools they have been across.
Joy bank group is a family. We all need to interact with each other for more ideas . Only then our goals can be achieved. Till now it was a one to one interaction between me and the other member. But i suggest we all interact with each other so that we feel AS A FAMILY.
post in ur comments and opinions. There are 43 members in our family now. Lets all be a team and achieve our objective. Because i believe that " What is important is not how much we do , but, how much love we put in doing it".

First event- Grand success

Joybank group has started its joy ride!! Joy bank has just accomplished its first task for spreading happiness.
8th of january 2009 joybank group donated shirts,sarees and food to Shantayee vriddhashram Belgaum.All the grandmas and grandpas were very happy receiving our gifts. They have showered our group with all their blessings and good wishes.

This was a lifetime experience. As soon as we reached the ashram we received many smiles. All the grandparents were eagerly waiting for us. The manager Mr Nagesh Cougule welcomed us and made us familiar with the entire ashram. We started the function with prayers to the almighty lord. We then told them about our joybank group and all the donors who have donated. We handed over some eating stuffs to the cook. All the guests were requested to handover sarees and shirts to the grandparents.

The function was over by 7.30. “Our heart was full of delight when we saw the happiness in their eyes, Let us all pray God to make our hands so strong that we can reach all the needy who need us always...”

Hello friends,this is to inform u all that joy bank is making its first donation on 8th of January to shantayee vriddhashram. This vriddhashram is located near VTU belgaum. The ashram includes 8 grandmas and 8 grandpas, a cook and a manager. We are going to arrange a function for these people on 8th. 8th being a holiday we hope to see you all in a large number.

The donation will be made in the form of new sarees and shirts.You can contribute a saree,a shirt or minimum of 150 rs, using which we will purchase on your behalf. In case you vcannot handover the amount directly you can do internet money transfer. In case of money donations all receipts will be mailed to you so that you know your money is put to right use.
Your presence will be the lucky charm for these people.This being the first event of joy bank ,it needs full support from all its members. In case you cannot make yourself available on 8th we will mail you a detailed report along with photographs.Hope to make this event a memorable one to all those grandmas and grandpas.GOD BLESS ALL.
